16 Jan Water Colour

Today, we had an opportunity to do a water colour class with a professional art teacher. 

We drew some ovals on a page and practiced the 'wet on dry' technique as well as a ‘wet on wet’ technique and also ombre single-colour and a double blend. 

It was pretty tricky trying to make sure we had even colours and were holding the brush correctly as well as ensuring we did not have too much water or too much paint on the brush. 

We can now practice and improve our skills using the beautiful brushes and paints the art teacher brought to the lesson for us to keep.
