Monopoly is a game that has been fun for many generations and we enjoyed pulling out the game today, an old set that our Dad owned when he was a kid.

We had lots of fun counting the different ways to get change from $500 as well as working out the rent as we went around. 

We also had fun when we landed on free parking using our family rules, with the occasional bankruptcy along the way. 

Mum thinks it is a great game for counting and numbers, as you have to add up the numbers that are on the board as well as work out the change and money along the way. 

We each had turns to be the banker, so we had the opportunity to count many times over.
